I'm Ken Davis, but you'll find my books under the name Kevan Dale. Why the pen name? Well, turns out there are about as many authors named Ken Davis out there as there are Dunkin' Donuts in Boston. So to avoid confusion, I started using Kevan Dale for my writing gig.
The writing? My love-letters to the twilit woods and old towns of Massachusetts, where I’ve lived most of my life. This place inspires me to create the worlds of my novels, whispering to my imagination, coaxing stories out of the shadows.
I write the books I've always wanted to read. (And I read. A lot.)
The novels? Remember that feeling of getting so caught up in a book that by the time you look up it’s two hours past your bedtime? That’s what I’m going for. Nine novels and counting.
